About SwimGalwayBay
SwimGalwayBay shows open-water swims across Galway Bay live: a phone on the
escort boat broadcasts the swimmer's GPS position, and anyone with the link can
follow the swim on the map, browse past swims, and download a Record of Swim.
Privacy
We collect only what the tracking needs, and use it for no other purpose:
- Swim data - swimmer, pilot and boat names, the GPS track, crew notes and
photos posted during the swim, and a weather snapshot of the day. Swims are
public by design: they appear on the live map and the past-swims list.
- Contact email - used to send the claim code for a registered swim and
nothing else.
- Print orders - payment is processed by Stripe; card details never touch
this site. Your name, delivery address and email go to our print partner
(Prodigi) solely to print and ship your order, and are kept here as the order
record.
- Cookies - none on the public pages; a session cookie exists only on the
organiser console.

Framed prints
- Prices include worldwide tracked shipping; orders are printed on demand within
2-3 working days and delivery typically takes 3-7 days depending on destination.
- Each print is personalised to one swim, so the EU 14-day withdrawal right for
distance sales does not apply to it (Directive 2011/83/EU, custom-made goods).
- Arrived damaged or faulty? Email a photo within 14 days of delivery and we
will replace it free of charge.
